Brokers licensed on November 21, 2021 through October 31, 2023, you are in your FIRST renewal cycle – Choose your classes from the purple section titled “Broker Post-Licensing CE Classes”. See the info-graphic on the left for more information.
Brokers licensed PRIOR to November 21, 2021 – Choose 1 course from the Red section, 1 course from the Yellow section, and 2 or 3 courses from the Green section. See the info-graphic on the right for more information.

Broker Post-Licensing CE Classes
These are the 45-hour post-license courses for licensed brokers in their FIRST renewal cycle. You must have been issued your license prior to taking these courses.

Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
Brokers Licensed PRIOR to November 1, 2021 are required to take at least 1 hour of SHP training.

These classes are taught by MRED Instructors, are free for all to attend, and do not accrue any CE toward your renewal.

Illinois Core CE
Brokers licensed PRIOR to November 1, 2021 – 4 Hours of IL COR is required to renew your license.

Elective Courses
Brokers Licensed PRIOR to November 1, 2021 are required to take 8 hours of elective courses which should include at least 1 hour of SHP training. SHP training course choices can be found under the Sexual Harassment Prevention Training course choices modual.

Designation and Certification Classes
These classes will earn NAR Designations or NAR Certifications following completion of the class and any furhter requirements from NAR. These classes may also earn CE Credits toward your license renewal.
