TRAR Member Benefits
Application Process
Membership Application

TRAR provides membership to real estate professionals who pledge to subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics and who may proudly display the REALTOR® trademark "R" and the term “REALTOR®.” As a new applicant of the association membership approval must be granted by the board of directors before being granted full rights and privileges of membership. The Three Rivers Association requires that new applicants complete orientation and induction within 60 days of applying for membership.

Billings for local, state, and national association membership fees are due annually on September 30. A one-time application fee of $250, once payed, is non-refundable. Dues are then prorated, depending on the month you join the association. Affiliates are also encouraged to join the association as a part of their networking and professional development. Annual dues for affiliates are $165.

After becoming a member of TRAR, there are a variety of beneficial services and programs available to you. The association's buying power allows its members to take advantage of errors and omissions insurance, real estate business forms, and much more. Subscriptions to the following publications, which provide the latest real estate and association news, are included with Realtor® membership: REALTORS® RAP, Illinois REALTORS®, and REALTORS® Magazine.

In addition, attorneys are just a phone call away, courtesy of the Illinois Association of Realtors® Legal Hotline for managing brokers. Simply mention your real estate license number and receive solid advice from experienced attorneys (800-952-0578).
